"in-situ" is conceived as site-specific traveling environmental art developed through a series of ceremonies. The landscape becomes the ephemeral expression of the interaction of a culture within a territory. "in-situ" celebrates people and place in a poetic ritual of togetherness and transience. It is a site-specific cumulus of events centered around the tea ceremony. Each ritual is nested in a particular landscape, adapting to and honoring it. The tea ceremony articulates the dialogue with the local culture by proposing different pairings of arts: culinary, ceramics, fashion, and landscape architecture.
